MUTURI trashes RAILA’s CORD for calling him rogue-says he is the best Speaker Kenya has ever had-CORD is a bunch of losers

Wednesday November 27, 2013 - National Assembly Speaker, Justin Muturi, has broken his silence and dismissed allegations by former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga’s Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) that he is a rogue.

Speaking in Teso Constituency over the weekend, Muturi trashed Raila’s allegations saying he is the best House Speaker Kenya has ever had since independence.

He noted that Raila and his CORD were only bitter with him because they lose out in House debates.

“It is normal for those who lose out to opt for blame game to justify their failure. My work is like that of a judge where in every verdict I make the winners like Jubilee will rejoice while the losers like CORD will cry foul”, said Muturi.

He warned MPs against using abusive language against him, saying they were setting a bad example to the youth.

This comes after Raila and Meru Governor, Peter Munya, attacked Muturi for allowing the House to discuss a motion that would undermine the independence of the Judiciary terming Muturi’s action as arrogant.
