REVEALED: Why MUTHAMA is opposed to” Macha City Project”- KIKUYUS have invested billions of shillings – FULL LIST!

Wednesday November 27, 2013 - The African DAILY POST has learnt the reason why Machakos Senator, Johnstone Muthama, is opposed to the Machakos City project which was unveiled a fortnight ago by his Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta.

According to our insider who is a close ally of the CORD lawmaker, Muthama is opposed to the project because majority of investors are Central Kenya oligarchs who are ready to pump billions to the project.

The Sh 1.5 trillion project is a brain child of Machakos Governor, Alfred Mutua, who   wants to attract investors in the poverty stricken County.

The insider said rich individuals from Mt Kenya region have already hijacked the project and they have promised to invest more than 70 percent of the project.

Kikuyus bourgeoisies led by President Uhuru Kenyatta and former President Mwai Kibaki are among individuals who will  hold major stakes in the project once it is  complete..

Here is a list of Mt Kenya elites who have promised to invest in Machakos City project.

1. President Uhuru Kenyatta - through his Commercial Bank of Kenya, he has promised to invest Sh 4 billion into the project.

2. Former President Mwai Kibaki - through his companies, he has promised to invest Sh 3.5 billion

3. Former Head of Civil Service, Francis Muthaura - promised to construct a Sh 1 billion five star hotel

4. Former Mukurweini MP, Ephraim, Maina - promised to buy several helicopters to ferry people from Machakos to Nairobi

5. Equity CEO, James Mwangi - promised to build a multibillion university equivalent to University of Cape Town.

6. Stanley Murage - ready to invest Sh 1.5 billion in a modern transport system in Machakos to Nairobi

7. Michuki’s family – ready to open a five star hotel equivalent to Windsor Nairobi.

8. Charles Njonjo - ready to build a hotel and an ultra modern sport complex with an 18 hole golf course.

9. Dr Dan Gikonyo – he is ready to build a modern hospital that will be the biggest in East and Central Africa.

10.   Britam CEO Benson Wairegi - he has promised to construct over 5,000 apartments to cater for the population increase in the County.

Muthama’s fear is that the Kikuyu elites, who are brilliant political schemers, may take control of Machakos County the way they have taken Nakuru Town.
